Samsung LN46B750 Review – 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV
by admin

My friend was in the market for a new HDTV and was completely frustrated because she could not find one that was that was straightforward and easy to use.  Not being the techie type she wanted the awesome viewing experience that an HDTV provides without the hassles of configuration and use.

I set out to help her by doing some homework on my own and that is when I discovered the Samsung LN46B750.  At the onset it appeared that the unit sported an impeccable picture quality with easy to use controls so I decided to delve a little deeper and read some of the Samsung LN46B750 reviews.  After doing a little research I got a hold of one of these units so I could see for myself and here is what I found:

Awesome Samsung LN46B750 1080p Resolution

Samsung LN46B750

The picture quality with 1080p resolution is a step forward from the previous Samsung A series.  The new B750 offers 240Hz motion compensation technology which is twice the 120HZ capability of the Auto Motion Plus in the B650 series.  This means that the picture is able to capture motion with much less blurring that normally occurs in televisions that do not have this type of technology.

I especially liked the Auto Motion Plus 240Hz technology that delivers twice the capability because it quickly adjusts to fast-paced action sequences in movies and accurately captures the action of sports activity.  When I showed it to my friend it exceeded her expectations for the type of viewing experience she had imagined.

What’s more is the Wide Color Enhancer technology optimizes the color tones above and beyond your expectations and the Ultra Clear Panel and 150,000:1 contrast ration far exceed the specs of the B650. The quality was maintained when I tested Blu-ray and DVDs.  What was perfect for my friend is that you could achieve optimum picture quality with just a few adjustments shortly after removing the Samsung LN46B750 HDTV from the box.

An HDTV That Accommodates Multiple Devices

Although my friend is not the techie type she was amazed at the ease of being able to connect your PC and other multimedia devices.  Thanks to the Ethernet connection and the new DLNA technology, you can easily access multimedia from any PC that is connected to your home network and remote digital content through Windows server technology.  My friend also liked the fact that she could easily access her social networking accounts to keep in touch with her friends while enjoying all of the benefits the Samsung LN46B750 HDTV has to offer.

Samsung LN46b750 SRS TruSurround

When I read that the Samsung LN46B750 is designed with SRS TruSurround HD sound technology I had to investigate this a little further. I was thinking, “Was it really a true surround sound experience?”  Well, pretty close with an effect of digital surround stereo sound from its speaker system which includes two 10W speakers complete with great bass sound and on board woofer.  I would say the sound is quite decent however if you are seriously finicky about a true surround sound experience then you may want to attach an additional system to thoroughly enjoy this amazing unit.

Sleek High-Tech Look

If you are worried about the Samsung LN46B750 being a distraction from your décor you can rule out this possibility.  The B750 has a modern sleek look with an elegant shade of black which is enhanced by a touch of grey color.  This is slightly different than the B650 which is manufactured with a hint of red color on the bezel.

If you are looking for a high end HDTV that is easy to use then it is worth your while to give the Samsung LN46B750 a test run.  Although it retails in the ballpark of $2,200 I found a great deal for almost $800 less here.
